Prior to joining the firm, Jaime spent 5 years in financial compliance, first consulting on state-level mutual fund filing compliance at J.P. Morgan Chase, then joining State Street Corporation. At State Street she performed anti-money laundering/know-your-customer due diligence for their institutional investment business, then served as a compliance officer for Global Treasury and Global Markets, focusing on credit-lending, insider trading, and ethics. During this time she also volunteered with the Volunteer Lawyers Project and Women’s Bar Foundation, taking on pro bono cases in guardianship and divorce for victims of domestic violence.
- Jaime is a 2013 graduate of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University), where she was Editor-In-Chief of the Law Review, as well as a teaching assistant for two years.
