Alec Grant has been with Brick, Jones, McBrien & Hickey since 2021. While serving as a law clerk with the firm during the day, he attended Suffolk University Law School’s Evening Division, earning his Juris Doctor in December 2025. During law school, he was an active member of the Child and Family Law Association, where he enhanced his strong interest in issues related to domestic relations.
Alec has also gained valuable courtroom experience through his clerkship at the Middlesex Family & Probate Court in Woburn, Massachusetts, where he served as a court clerk for the Honorable Melanie Gargas. In that role, he conducted legal research and analysis on family and probate law matters, assisted in drafting judicial orders and findings, and supported court proceedings by taking notes and providing in-court assistance.
