Mary B. Nee is an associate attorney with Brick, Jones, McBrien & Hickey. She focuses her practice on complex family law matters, including divorce, modifications, child custody, property division, contempt actions, and prenuptial agreements. Mary has tried highly contested custody cases, securing favorable outcomes for her clients. She also works to reach creative solutions to assist clients in settling their cases out of court. Mary understands the importance of client-centered advocacy and approaches each case through a lens of client empowerment. Mary has been recognized as a Super Lawyer’s Rising Star in 2024 and 2025.
Prior to joining Brick, Jones, McBrien & Hickey, Mary worked as a family law and guardianship staff attorney at a legal aid organization in Boston, where she provided limited assistance representation to clients and supervision to pro bono attorneys and law students. She has accumulated her legal experience in both private and public settings, with a consistent focus on the domestic relations arena.
